Bullying Prevention Campaign for Secondary Schools
Day 3: Upstanders Rule: What You Can Do If You See Someone Being Bullied
Did you also know that many situations involve bystanders and upstanders? A bystander is someone who isn’t directly involved but sees what's happening and doesn’t intervene.
An upstander is someone who tells the bully to STOP, encourages the person being bullied to walk away or asks an adult for help.
Upstanders are powerful, even if they just ask an adult for help.

Bullying Prevention Campaign for Secondary Schools
Day 2: Why Should I Be Concerned About Bullying?
We all have a part, and EVERYONE has the right to be safe at school. It is important to understand that students who are bullied are more likely to be injured, feel unwell, anxious, depressed or be absent frequently from school, and students who witness bullying behaviors might be afraid to speak up, and feel powerless to change things. Being concerned leads to positive change and this starts when we can recognize, report and refuse bullying behaviors.
This is how to use your supercharged power!

Bullying Prevention Campaign for Secondary Schools
Day 1: What is Bullying?
Bullying is when someone is hurt by unwanted words or actions that usually happen more than once, and the person being bullied has a difficult time stopping what is happening to them. Bullying can occur face-to-face or electronically through text messaging, gaming apps, or social media.
Bullying might also include intimidation, damaging someone’s personal items, spreading hurtful rumors or causing physical harm, and cyberbullying often happens on social media and gaming apps such as DISCORD, SNAPCHAT, and TIKTOK.
Bullying can happen anywhere or anytime.
