Congratulations to Cooper Cecilione as our Big Dawg Sportsmanship Award Winner for the month of April. Each month, THS Athletics will nominate and award a student-athlete that is going above and beyond in the athletics arena, making us proud both on & off of campus, showing sportsmanship, and preserving the true spirit of the game. Cooper was nominated by his Baseball Coach, Andy Hanson who shared the following on him, “Cooper is the ultimate HYPE GUY for our Terrier Baseball Program. He cheers on every player from JV to Varsity and gets the team excited to play. He also leads our team in prayer before each game and can be seen in the hallways high fiving teachers, faculty members, and admin. No matter if he is having a great game or a bad game, Cooper keeps the team in check with his vocal leadership and 100% effort on the field. He is respectful to our opponents and frequently gets compliments from opposing coaches about his demeanor. We are lucky to have Cooper in our program and he's a terrific Terrier!” Congratulations, Cooper!
Other Terrier student-leaders that were recently nominated by their coaches, who should also be recognized are, Trenten Kelly – Track, Breanna Sullivan – Softball, Jasmyn Douglas – Softball, and Ava Buccierro - Softball.
Way to make us proud, Terriers!!!
