This nomination comes on the heels of another proud moment for THS—Bobby Guthrie earned the same recognition last semester. The Guthries are on a roll, and we couldn’t be prouder of the impact they continue to make on our students and school community.
Why Jennifer Guthrie was nominated:
Her nominator shared:
“Jennifer is the consummate educator of my 30‑year teaching career. She leads the Mathematics Department at THS and goes out of her way to ensure her peers feel confident and prepared. Her students love her positive attitude, paired with compassion, understanding, and unconditional acceptance. She meets students where they are and helps them grow into confident, successful learners. She freely shares her expertise to support her colleagues, making a challenging profession more manageable and far less stressful.”
Let’s rally behind Mrs. Guthrie and show the wider community what we already know—Titusville High is home to extraordinary educators.

Congratulations to Arya Patel as our Big Dawg Sportsmanship Award Winner for the month of December.
Each month, THS Athletics will nominate and award a student-athlete that is going above and beyond in the athletics arena, making us proud both on & off of campus, showing sportsmanship and preserving the true spirit of the game.
Arya was nominated by her Soccer Coach, Meagan King who shared the following on her, “Arya is always positive and cheering on the team whether it’s at practice or a game. She encourages everyone to try their best and keep up their spirits. She’s always helping me whether it’s carrying gear or gathering everyone and she’s been getting girls extra gifts for anyone who doesn’t have a soccer sister gift.”
Other Terrier student leaders that were recently nominated by their coaches and should be recognized are Alyna Chehab for Soccer, Aleana Rehberg for Soccer, Chase Rose for Swim, Brice Haddock for Cross Country, and Elijah Ray for Boys Golf.
Way to make us proud, Terriers!!!
